Neil Philip es autor de muchos libros sobre folclore y mitología. Entre sus libros destacan The Illustrated Book of Myths, Myth and Leyends Explained, The Great Mystery: Myths of Native America, The Cinderella Story y horse Hooves and Chicken feet: Mexicn Folktales, con el que ganó el aesp Prize of the American Folklore Society.
