Brilliant is a four-level primary English course. It covers a solid grammar syllabus and skills work through an absorbing and beautifully-illustrated story.
The series introduces children to English through a carefully graded language syllabus and has been planned so that all children will have time to read, write, listen and speak at their own pace.
Each book has eight main units and four review units which follow the same characters on their adventures through each level.
Each unit presents a language area and stimulating practice exercises through an episode of the story which ends in cliffhanger style at the end of each unit and finishes happily at the end of each level!
Listening comprehensions also involve lively, catchy song which include the target language for each unit. A particularly popular feature of this course is the project work in the Adventure Notebook in every unit. Each of these contains a simple reading text presented with photographs which will appeal to students as they work through these mini-projects. Each Pupil?s Notebook section as a multicultural feel and covers topics as cities, food, national costumes and daily routines.
* The Pupil?s Book contains eight units of six pages each. One unit will be about five lessons. To help you plan your teaching, each unit is divided into five lessons but these divisions are guidelines only. Each unit has been designed to be flexible, so that you can use them to suit your teaching needs and situation. After every two units, there are two pages of revision material that give you the opportunity to check the children?s progress.
