Enjoyable and stimulating, this new story-based course will make children?s first steps in English highly memorable. It is an orally based course which does not require children to read and write in English.
Happy House takes an appealing approach to English, with imaginative stories about two different families living in a house: Polly, Jack and their baby sister, and a family of mice which live under the floorboards.
Happy House appeals directly to young children and involves them in a process of language learning which is fun and highly motivating. It follows a very clear pattern which will give children confidence and help them to learn.
The first level of the series can be used either as a preparation for Happy Street (which introduce children to written English) or as a stand-alone course which does not require children to read or write.
-The Class Book provides attractive and colourful illustrations to support language presentation and includes closely integrated activity pages. Sticker pages provide a dun way for children to keep a record of their learning.
